Tred-MOR® Premium Multi-Purpose Regular Set Adhesive is an aggressive premium floor covering adhesive specially designed for the installation of most carpet and is specially recommended for patterned carpets when additional working time is required in commercial applications.

Tred-MOR® Premium Multi-Purpose Regular Set Adhesive develops legs quickly to hold down end curling of those tough to hold carpets. Not recommended for vinyl backed carpet. Install over plywood, hardwood and all grades of concrete where moisture or moisture related problems do not exist. The tacky installation method is preferred when installing over non-poroous surfaces such as terrazzo, wax-free floor tile and non-cushioned sheet goods. Allow the adhesive to tackup when installing over non-porous substrates. Contact the flooring covering manufacturer for their recommendations regarding approval substrates and suggested procedures. It is not recommended for vinyl-backed or urethane unitary carpeting.

It is highly recommended for use in health care facilities, educational institutions, hospitals, dining areas and occupied office buildings. While the adhesive is designed to meet the challenges of poorly ventilated areas, sufficient air exchanges are still required to ensure proper curing of latex-based adhesive. The adhesive contains no hazardous or carcinogenic ingredients as defined by OSHA, federal or state regulations such as California Prop 65. Contains antimicrobial protection.

D I R E C T I O N S

Refer to all manufacturer's recommendations prior to installation to determine suitability of all materials to be used. Follow the Carpet & Rug Institute Standard 104 where appropriate:

1. Refer to Tred-MOR® Technical Bulletin 106 and 107 for recommended installation procedure.
2. Subtler must be clean, dry, smooth, and free of any contamination which may interfere with the adhesive bond. Prime all chalky, very porous floors with an approved latex milk.
3. Pad to floor releasable application: Apply tremor Premium Pressure Sensitive Adhesive with a fine notched trowel or roller coat using a short nap paint roller. Let adhesive dry completely before placing pad into adhesive. Permanent Application: Some applications may require a permanent type adhesive between cushion and floor. Spread Tred-MOR® Premium Multi-Purpose Regular Set Adhesive using a minimum 1/16" square notch trowel when a permanent bond is required. Allow adhesive to tack 10-12 minutes than place pad into adhesive.
4. Precut carpet according to carpet mills instructions and guidelines set forth in CRI Standard 104. Do not double cut with knife penetrating cushion.
5. Apply Tred-MOR® Premium Multi-Purpose Regular Set to top of cushion using a 1/8" x 1/8" x 1/16" U trowel. Use a 3/16" notched trowel for stiff or heavy textured backings. Lay carpet into adhesive when the adhesive has flashed off most of its moisture.
6. Use a carpet core or lightweight roller (50 lb. max.) to roll carpet into adhesive.
7. Seal all seams with a latex type sealer or similar product. the method of seaming is recommended by the carpet manufacturer. Butted glue seams, double glue hot melt tape seams and sewn seams all perform well when properly applied. Traffic must not be allowed on the system for a minimum of 24 to 48 hours. Carpet and cushion should be protected by masonic, etc. Plastic should not be used. Allow installation to set for s minimum of 30 days before cleaning. The dry cleaning system is preferred.

C L E A N U P

Wet adhesive can be cleaned from tools and floors with warm soapy water. To remove dried adhesive from carpeting use an approved solvent from the floor covering manufacturer.
